Director of Finance and Resources

Based in our head office in Southwark.
Deadline 5pm on the 20th September 2019

This is a critical and exciting time for GLFB, with new leadership in place and a growth plan underway to ensure our sustainability and impact. We are undertaking a brand overhaul to reflect our passion and professionalism and to engage new audiences, and will be launching our new name and brand in October 2019. Crucially, a new strategy is underway which will offer a step-change in our capacity to change lives, and has put blind and partially-sighted Londoners at the heart of our decision making. We are looking to recruit an exceptional Director of Finance and Resources to oversee an outstanding finance department and contribute expertise and energy to the Executive Team.

The Director of Finance and Resources is responsible for all financial management, so this role presents an opportunity for a seasoned charity finance executive looking for a new challenge in an innovative organisation, or an exciting entry to the charity sector for a private sector executive. It is a strategic and operational role, leading finance, HR, IT and all office/ organisational management, working closely with the Chief Executive. Please find more information on the role here: GLFB Director of Finance and Resources v1.

Please send a CV and a supporting statement of no more than two pages which sets out your suitability to the role to Michelle Sclater at [email protected]
