The GLFB has awarded a grant to Blind in Business for the purchase of a ‘library’ of adaptive technology to be used in training courses for blind students between the ages of 14 to 18 and to assist visually impaired graduates into work.
Graduates are also given CV advice, assistance with the practical aspects of filling in application forms, specialised interview practice sessions with graduate interviewers from major employers, support on obtaining equipment for work and networking and support from visually impaired employees and professionals.
