- Moving into 60 years of the Fund new ideas were bought in to revive the Fund
- An annual Christmas Fair was hosted each festive season at Kensington Town Hall and opened by a local celebrity
- In conjunction with the fairs Christmas Tree appeals were held at train stations across the Borough
- The Fund were most fortunate to be able to host charity theatre performances during this decade including a performance of Cole Porter’s Nymph Errant at the Theatre Royal
- A record breaking Geranium day was held raising £115,830.66
